Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products that meet their needs, providing product demonstrations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience in our retail environment.
Responsibilities
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide detailed information about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on usage and benefits.
• Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring all products are displayed properly.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to ensure product availability.
• Uphold compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing training and guidance on customer service best practices.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Experience with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and industry trends.
