Qualifications
- A successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, be able to follow direction well, and enjoy repetitive work
- Food service, food manufacturing, or cannabis production experience may be beneficial but is not required
- Knowledge of quality standards and health and safety regulations (Please note: candidate will be required to obtain Food Handler certificate, if not already possessed.)
- Must to able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be over 21 and pass a criminal background check
- Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize work effectively in fast-paced environment
- Possess a high attention to detail and ability to focus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Enjoy working as part of a team and value collaboration
- Must be able to complete repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands, or fingers
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Must be okay with potential exposure to peanuts, dairy, food allergens, dust, pollen, and plant pathogens
- Must be able to withstand loud and noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

Responsibilities
- The Production Assistant role will work between 30-40 hours per week and is responsible for supporting the manufacturing of cannabis infused edibles and assembling and packaging products for distribution
- This person will set-up processes and equipment, cook edibles, assemble and package finished goods, and clean equipment and facilities across multiple product lines
- Product lines include, but are not limited to: cartridge filling and capping, edible production, flower packing, and preroll production
- Assist with physical preparation and packaging of various cannabis-infused products (gummies, chocolates, prerolls, vape cartridges, etc.)
- Record all production and packaging activity to ensure all tasks are accounted for, including batch processing, cooking time, temperatures, waste, etc
- Operate, clean, and maintain all equipment and kitchen areas
- Weigh, assemble, package, seal, and label products
- Dish wash, clean, and sanitize of all spaces
- Organize all supplies and storage areas
- Complete orders with consistency and quality
- Maintain reasonable speed and efficiency in all work tasks and work with a sense of urgency
- Maintain clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to food safety guidelines and state and company specific regulations
- Occasional driving may be required to drop-off and pickup product

• Previous cannabis facility experience preferred, but not required
